I was having a discussion with my friend, and he was trying to convince me that I have a large DVD collection.

My collection comprises of 149 DVD boxes/cases, in which are 214 discs. On these discs, 41 are TV shows, 25 are special feature discs, the other 148 are films. When they sit on a shelf, they look a little like this. So, make me feel better, how big are yours? (No dirty jokes please, that's my job :P )

Mine isn't very big, but it should be much bigger. Much, much bigger. I have LotR: FotR Extended version (I you have all three, very nice. I wish I did.), Hero, Extended Special Edition Star Wars Trilogy, a few TV shows, a awesome series on Rock and Roll...hmm thats about it. Pretty Sad.
Can you imagine if I was deranged?

I've got 0 personally, wanted to get a TV series to up it to 4 disks. My family has about eight different films - including the multiple disk extended LotR trilogy (all three films, 'bout four disks each).

Not much, but that's why we use Netflix, very handy rental service - and saves a lot of money on those movies that it turns out you only wanted to see once.

I have the extended 4-disk LOTR thing for movies 1 and 2, but haven't gotten around to buying 3 yet. Other then that, the only DVDs we have are Babylon 5 seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

I have all twelve extended LotR disks!

I watched the entire 13-hour movie trilogy in one day.

Hrm, maybe the question should have been who hasn't got all the LotR's extended DVDs, or atleast one of them...

Quite small. Very small.
The Invader ZIM DVDs 1,2 and 3. My Dad has a few movies that I would watch though.
Currently making Possession 2, a game where you play as a ghost and possess your enemies.

My parents just donated something like 650+ records to the library, now that music is digital. That's pretty scary, especially since the estimated money spent buying them is over several thousand.

Well, if you want that competition...

*Harrison looks at the VHS shelf unit infront of him*

I aint counting it, but it comprises an entire set of DS9 videos, all the Star Trek films, all the Bond films and god knows how many recorded ones. Must be nearly 400 in total...

I have about 5 cowboy Bebops, Star wars box set, one LoTR special edition (sad, I know), Last samurai and Hero. About 13 total, definately not as large as your magnificent Lektor. I have mad VHS's though.
