Personally, I have 8 cases, 9 discs, all movies (particularly Mel Brooks). However, my neighbor currently has about 450 DVDs and over 5000 VHSs. Most of the tapes are copies of rented films and the DVDs are all action or sci-fi flicks. This neighbor also happens to be extremely rich.

I own Return of the King Extended and American Pie 2. My parents own Blown Away and Runaway Train, the DVDs they bought with the DVD player 3 years ago. Insomniac's the one who buys these things, he'll have to post his collection.

Damn... A NES and a SNES and a 64 right next to each other... I wish I still had my NES. :P

Anyways, on topic.

These are the DVD's and videos in my room (and PS1 games.)

These are the rest of the DVD's and videos. Most of which are my dads. Nearer the bottom they tend to double up though.

My personal DVD collection is small, most of it belongs to the rest of my family. I own some of the X-Files, a few MST3K's, and obscure comedy movies (like Shaun of the Dead).

I've seen bigger collections than any of the on this board. A rich relative of mine has a big room with the walls filled with DVDs. In the middle is a bar and a big screen TV. He also has a hallway surrounding the room filled with regular video tapes. You wouldn't believe it until you saw it.

My personal collect comprises of 2 DVDs:
Pirates of the Carribean
Family Guy Freaking Sweet Collection

(This doesn't include my eMac software DVDs.)

My personal DVD collection contains:
Monty Python and The Holy Grail
Fargo
Monty Walsh
Payback
Animal House
Ronin
Omega Man
When Trumpets Fade
O Brother Where Art Thou
The complete Band of Brothers miniseries

That's about it for me, but if you added in the rest of my family you'd probably find every major Hollywood hit from the past twenty years along with one heck of a lot of other stuff. I'm really not much one for movies anyway, it's probably been around four months since I watched any of the DVD's I've listed above and When Trumpets Fade is still in its original plastic wrapping (it came with the Band of Brothers box set for free).

Not very many DVDs, I don't have the money to buy them. But I used to, so I still have like 50.

And also Buffy Seasons 1-7 and Angel Seasons 1-3. Which cost a lot.

Man, good collection!

As an update to my earlier picture, this is what my colection now looks like. The top half of the big unit is entirely taken up by Star Trek...
