What are your top five most played songs, and who is singing them?

1) The Real Folk Blues---Mai Yamane, and the Seatbelts
2) Broadway---Goo Goo Dolls
3) Thunderstruck---AC/DC
4) Layla---Eric Clapton
5) Like a Hurricane---Neil Young

Some people, might say it's sad that my most played song is the credit song to a TV show. I say, screw you.

What if they're not sung at all?

Wow. I must listen to music a lot more then you. The real folk blues is at 405 plays, it's all super high play counts. Guess that makes me better, now doesn't it.

Also, I have Cosmos at 10, Go Go Cactus Man at 25, Tank at 8, and green bird at 6.

Take that. :P

I could have quite a few songs over 300, except I had to move my iTunes library to two different computers (ie, play counts didn't carry over) and then during one of the upgrades I had to reset my play count again.

Top right now is around 68+1 hits, and that wasn't from a very long time period on this computer.

Let me see...

Seal - Kiss from a Rose (102)
A Perfect Circle - Pet (100)
Evanescence - My Last Breath (95)
The Offspring - Vultures (95)
A Perfect Circle - The Noose (94)

Keep in mind that I have 10 songs at 90+ and 136 songs at 50+ , so there's a fairly even spread happening there.

Aye, same here. If I hadn't moved my playlist two times, I would probably have close to 400 plays. That, and I only listen to my playlist when I'm on the Internet (always) and when my mom is out of the room (never). She doesn't like to listen to anything when she's on the computer.

EDIT: Playlist size should also be taken into account. My playlist is significantly larger than most (1400+ songs).

Well, in iTunes, 5 of my top 6 are Monty Python snippets/songs.

Discounting those its:
"DC-10", Audio Audrenaline,
"Mr. Roboto", Styx
"Waterloo," ABBA
"Good Old-fashioned Lover Boy", Queen
"Chickens### Conformist", Dead Kennedys.

However i don't play music from iTunes much; if i counted what i've played on my iPod there would be a lot of Queen, a lot of Beatles, and a lot of Five Iron Frenzy.

John Mayer-City Love
Evanescence-My Immortal
John Mayer-3x5
John Mayer-Why Georgia
Randy Travis-Forever and Ever, Amen

Of course, since I only loaded my music library on my new Powerbook yesterday, those five songs just happen to be the last five I've listened to. :P

I have it set to random, repeat, so I am virtually even throughout my oh-so massive iTunes library (140) of mostly Weird Al, Midnight Oil, and Elvis Costello.

Bad Dog, No Biscuits is awesome! And our jazz band is playing Tank this year. I get the alto solo :P

Pufer, you are officially now my FAVORITE person. Not just because you have more than half of your top five which are John Mayer, but maybe just because you're awesome. As for me. I don't have a mac (*sigh*) or itunes (**sigh**) but...

1. John Mayer- Daughters (too many times to count)
2. Brian Setzer- Dirty Boogie
3. Royal Crown Revue- Zip Gun Bop
4. John Mayer- Bigger Than my Body
5. John Mayer- Clarity
6. John Mayer- 3x5
7. Pet Shop Boys- Money
8. Queen- Bohemian Rhapsody
9. The Killers- Somebody Told Me
10. Keane- Somewhere Only We Know

YAY for me!
Whatever happens..happens.

TJ I don't think you used "personified" in the right context and Moon you don't need a mac or iTunes to find the play count.

Lyrics question on that: Is is " on the grey" or "on the grave"? It makes more sense the second way, but every lyrics site I have looked at, plus the way it sounds, is the first way...
Good song, btw.
