UBB code is no different then BB code.
I can not do bold or paste an image.
And I know both codes to do these things.

People were abusing them a bit when the boards first opened up again, sticking in pictures and colors, so Tom shut them down for a bit.

Hopefully now I can sport my excellent new sig image, test time.

Thanks for the update. :P

I'm not going to make a sig image, I absolutely hate them. They make it much more difficult to skim through a topic. You have to use more brain power to decided what is real and what is not.

... But making sigs is so much fun. As you can see my stylish new one below.

I need neither an avatar nor a sig pic to affirm my self-worth (on an unrelated note, I don't like any of the avatars).

Personally, I'm all for avatars, and all against sig images.

I was testing your omniscience, but you failed me. You should've noted I was really referring to sig images.

GD: nice sig there, bud.

I'm not digging the new layout. And stuff. And I can't figure out how to edit posts.

I've also been robbed of about 3,500 posts.

I think I only lost about 50.

[Edit]More like 150, still not very much. And whoever was trying to figure out how to edit posts: There's an edit button at the bottom of your post.[/edit]

The reason I couldn't find the edit button is because it's way-the ###### over to the right, off the screen. And it stays off the screen, no matter how high my resolution is or how big I make the browser window.

EDIT: Hmm...it appears that, while it says I have only 4,167 posts, it remembers that I once had around 7,200. My profile says that 3,028 (42%) of my posts were made in the EVN board. And if you know your math, you can see that 3028 is certainly not 42% of 4,167. It is 42% of (about) 7,209.

I find that sig images neither make the page any longer nor do they disrupt any flow. I mean seriously. Its either a sig img or blank space.

[edit] this board is so slow [/edit] :P
