You're not going to need any of the crap you're learning anyway (well, on second thought, you might still be getting necessary math and history at your age, but my point stands for a couple years down the road), so why make it difficult on yourself?

I went to a catholic school on year (before I was old enough to start questioning my beliefs and why I had them), and it sucked. You don't want a biased education, no matter what.

Yes, most people just post stuff online so that other people can ignore what you say.

I know I do.
Anyways, the Portland School District considers Algebra a 'higher' math class, for all of high school. That means Freshman through seniors.

I take it you haven't heard of Patrick Henry College, then? It's a religious college which specialises in taking home-schoolers and teaching them for the specific purpose of getting them into positions of public power. At present, 7 of the White House's 100 interns are from PHC.
The major problem with home-schooling isn't the lack of social skills - many people go to public schools and still don't develop strong people skills. The problem with home-schooling is the cloistered environment; the lack of diversity of opinion. The only way to truly learn to think for yourself is to stand at a nexus of views and talk to everyone about everything. If you're coming from a set rigid preconceived notions, your thinking will never be free.

It's nice that my influence on your life is so great that you'll make poor decisions about your education just to spite me. I can still feel the love though, daffodil, and when you come out of this whole "rebelling against authority" phase, why don't you come talk to me. We'll forget about all of these little illogical acts and go out and get you a spiffy new sun-dress. Doesn't that sound like fun, kiddo?

That's true enough.
