If you don't, Why are you here?
My brother, TheLoser, showed me this place, then after I came here, I started playing Ares.

I played ares a while ago. I do on occasion, but usually on a very rare occasion when I have nothing to do for a very extended period of time.

I spent some time playing Ares a while back, just as I've done with every Ambrosia game ever released, but I never really got into it as much as, say, the EV series, Aperion, or Swoop. I occasionally fire it up just to remind myself of what it is, but not often.
As to why I'm here, I post most often within the more general, non-game specific, forums which, as this is one of them, explains my presence here. I think that you will find, as this topic progresses (and if it manages to stay on topic) that many members who frequent this forum could not easily play Ares, even if they wanted to.

I've never played Ares. I downloaded it once, but then got a new computer and I've never played it. As for why I'm here, what Pufer said.

I played Ares for several months back when it was first released. I was pretty good, too... my win:loss ratio online was about 10:1. But then I got bored and quit playing.
With the release of Hera, I got back into Ares briefly, and coded a little [url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/show.pl?product=ares&category=scenarios&display=rating&file=Footsteps%20of%20Pyrrhus.sit.Bin"]plugin[/url]. That went down quite well, and I played a few more plugins before relapsing again.

I came here about 8 months ago, just after I had first registered. I played Ares a little, but mainly I noticed that this forum, dead as it was back then, was a perfict fit for someone like me. You all know what I'm talking about.

Go to the top of the page, and click the big sign that says: "ARES". should tell you all you need to know.
