Against: Me, Darkk, Mag, OF
In favor: Avatara, Carnotaur
Now, of course, this is soon going to turn into a flaming assault, so I won't come back to check very often...

Maybe if Bush avoids screwing up too badly, he'll get a little respect from me.

As for me, I cannot support the man at all. Maybe it's just me and my freaky, long-haired, ultra-lestist ways, but look at how he left Texas. That should be proof enough that he is not a threat to be taken lightly.
[And BTW, there's nothing wrong with being liberal]

I disagree, Texas was much better after he became govenor. He really fixed the place up.

I fail to see why everyone hates him or makes fun of him so much. It's all the media's fault because they're so liberal, Al Gore says all this bad stuff about him which ISN'T true, and then everyone thinks he's stupid. Come on, he's a LOT smarter than Al Gore, and there is no reason to think he's stupid. I fully suppport him.
How is he smarter then Al Gore? Can you at least back up your statements? Right now you're just yelling rhectoric at us.

Then I'll throw your question back at you: Prove that George W. Bush isn't smarter than Al Gore.
At least he hasn't caused a national crisis yet, that's a good sign. He's your president for the next 4 years. Complaining isn't going to get you anywhere. Instead, just vote for someone else besides him in 4 years, I think you'll be old enough then.
Sometimes life gives you lemons and you want to swell up and die, but instead just deal with it.

Also, George W. Bush got an MBA at Harvard and Al Gore dropped out of some school at some point.

You can't hear me right now, but I'm actually laughing hysterically.
You make it seem as if that's the most we can ask from the man! H3ll, he should "not cause a national crisis," sign half a dozen bills that are good for the majority of the country into law, veto another two bad ones, attempt to improve America's foreign image, and hold a press conference...before lunch!
Talk about low standards....

As for polotics, I sometimes wish I wasn't involved in them, either.

How he left Texas!? In excellent shape if you ask me! If any of you remember the first presidential debate where Gore proved himself as a failure in math, do you remember what he said about Texas? He blaimed Bush for Texas being the most poluted state in the United States! Common people, it's the third largest state, as well as one of the most industrious. What do you expect? The fact is that Bush has done a lot for Texas, and Gore was so desperate to find something wrong with his government skills that he blaimed Bush for the polution. Oh brother...

My family is so worried that he will make alaska even worse with his oil drilling that my dad gave a 500$ check to a girl from the Sierra Club who came to our door about helping to buy a piece of land and prevent it from being mined.

Well, the main thing I hate about bush is that 1), he's a christian fundamentalist, 2), he enjoys skull ****ing the environment, (sorry, there really is NO other way to put that) and 3), He has made way too many stupid decesions in his life, he won't stop now.

Well, I'm sure if Gore were in the white house right now, oil mines would be far worse in Alaska...Goodness, do any of you realize how much he was going to raise gas prices just so he could get his fingers on more money? We might be paying 2 / 5 dollars a gallon...I don't like that. Anyhow, we all have our reasons for liking and disliking polotics, so I have no right to go against your beliefs.

1) I live in New York. Think of the town in New York that has the absolute most reason to be Democratic. That's where I live. (Parents might know the town)
2) Vote for someone else in the next election? I can't. I'm going to miss it by 2 days.

Nope, I haven't...Are you trying to tell me something? Is that gas really that expensive up there? $1.60 cents was incredibly high here, especially considering it used to hang around $0.98 cents. Now it has dropped down to around $1.15 a gallon.
