I can imagine the Order vs Death Eater fight at the end would rock, it's my only complaint with the film, I wanted to see more! When the Order 'ghosted' in, I was jumping up and down like a little kid!

Compared to any other ending sequence I've seen, this one was definitely magnificent. It was longer than most and did an exceptional job. I was so glad to see some actual fighting too.. it wasn't JUST spells. Seeing Sirius punch Lucius was so wonderful...

Yes that was awesome. As I said I was jumping around like a little kid at that point!

Only another hour 47 minutes for the British folk. It's another 6 hours, 47 minutes for me. I am looking forwards to the B&N party, which I will be going to at 10:30 tonight.
So who else liked seeing Azkaban in the movie? It was another cool thing I forgot to mention in my previous poster.

I'VE GOT IT! IT'S IN MY HAND!
I'm too drunk right now, but will start reading as soon as I wake up.
Awesome.

It was too fast and they cut a lot of stuff out. It felt really rushed and I was hoping for more out of the Weasleys, especially when they leave. It was still an entertaining flick, it just didn't live up to my high expectations.
edit: and they mangled the first 10 minutes or so, you must admit that.

I thought compared to the past four films it wasn't rushed in the least. I thought it flowed well and transitioned very nicely.
Yes, I was a bit disappointed by the Weasley's exit, however.. With the time they had alloted (which was enough, I thought) they did very well.
I felt like the director actually read the books and tried to bring it alive. There's no way they could've left everything in (obviously) but what they left in was great. Case and point with Cho. They left out Marietta, but the way they did it helped the story a lot.
The only thing I didn't like about the first 10 minutes (I'm assuming you mean the Dursley's) was Uncle Vernon. He was much too docile. But other than that it was fantastic. Loved the arrival and departure of The Order.

Mad-Eye's broom was seriously kickass, and yes, the director did stick to the book.
But I'm not sure it was better than the last films, but it definitely sucked a lot less than the other films-- a book that long needs a lot more time to fully portray it.
I know I'm a stickler and I'm being too picky, but maybe that's because I don't see very many movies.

I read the book and found it fairly tedious. But still enjoyable. I still found the movie much more engaging though.
And in the total opposite direction. If you want a book better than the movie, read Eragon. Although that book kinda bored me. Heh.

Man that movie sucked. It had none of the charm of the books, choosing instead to focus on plot, the weakest part of the Harry Potter series.
