It seems this is my 7,000th post. I've learned many valuable things over the past several thousand posts. But here are some highlights. And to ensure that this isn't merely a vanity topic :P I hope that everyone adds their own little bit of wisdom. Is there some piece of advice that someone gave you that's helped through some rough times? Or even.. through nothing. Perhaps a phrase that just makes you smile like, "Don't be stupid." So go for it ;)

"People are never as good about secrets as you want them to be, µ." Azeroth

"This isn't your own private AIM service, µ." SA
(Have I gotten better? B))

"You know, authorities always warn you against agreeing to meet strangers from the internet..." Azeroth
(I guess that little gem didn't really strike a chord..)

"I think the main reason µ posts here is because most of the members here are boys." LifeKnight
(Not anymore...)

"Moo- The girl we love to hate" - lobf

"Holy crap, I never noticed how utterly hot just an eye-shot of moony could be." - Anaxagoras

"No more posting in honor of µ? Seems counterintuitive." -Pufer
(Heck yes!)

And the mother of them all...

"I've decided, after much deep thought, that Al Gore is, in fact, 50 times sexier than both Hillary Clinton and Tipper put together, and I'm not gay." - Pufer

EDIT: For Pufer.

Shame I misspelled together in that post. In any event, that's still true, especially if you use bearded Al. You can find an acceptable picture of Tipper, but she's really a little reminiscent of a horrid, southern, chubby zombie, and Hillary's head still perpetually looks photoshopped onto her own body.

I'm not real sure what type of wisdom I've gained from being here, I've certainly gained knowledge and can better communicate with the world due to my time here, but I'm not sure if that equates to wisdom.

This thread is made of win and fail.

Mostly because of the Reno disaster-trip.

Yeah, that's what I mean. I suppose that I now know that that's a bad thing (knowledge), but I still haven't the faintest idea why you wouldn't you wouldn't want to wear leather shoes with a brown dress (wisdom).

I can only think of one that was a total disaster. But by the same token, my views have changed since then.

So... I dunno :P

Now I remember. The profanity filter even ate something you had to say about it... and you aren't one to trip the filter.

Sometimes I get really annoyed at something. Then I wake up the next day and wonder what I'm annoyed at. Then I remember and wonder why I was annoyed at it.

Viscous = high viscosity. Unfortunately, I didn't get to viscous fluid flow in physics.

I think what you were looking foor is vicious.

Viscous cycles most likely involve engine oil.

That's nonsense. Brown leather shoes would go together perfectly fine with a brown dress. You'd have to be very cautious about wearing black shoes with a brown dress, but it could still be done. Your main concern ought to be the cut of the shoe. The material is less important.

Fair point. But I was more talking about men wearing leather shoes with a brown dress. It just doesn't work.

Oh I don't know about that. I think that black shoes would just look silly on a man with a brown kilt.
