Oh I don't know about that. I think that black shoes would just look silly on a man with a brown kilt.

-Pufer

I've seen quite a few kilts, and I think I am safe in saying that brown ones are quite uncommon. However, brown gillies (tongueless shoes, with laces that wrap up around the calves, which typically accompany kilts) are even more uncommon (granted, one of the first results that comes up when searching "gillies" on Google Images displays a pair of brown gillies, but those appear to be women's shoes (and horrendously ugly)). Your example is an exceedingly rare situation, and its (presumable) alternative is even rarer. That issue aside, I estimate that brown shoes would look worse with a brown kilt than black ones.

But this is all beside the point. I was talking about women's clothing earlier.

Congrats, µ! I'm glad you came back after your brief time away from these boards. ATT wouldn't be the same without you. Now the question is: Whatever happened to *saXxy*? :P

I actually might be over on the west coast briefly next year. I'm not sure if I could stop by Reno though, as I will be scurrying from Tijuana through Cali. And there's a good chance this trip will never happen.

Great heavens man! You can wear a kilt with anything, not just gillies. I imagine that some nice light brown Merrell Mocs would go with just about any kilt you could find.

I think she was intimidated by me when I came back and left ;)

You can come visit. We'll have a massive West coast meet. The Reno gang, Spoony, mWalk, and lobf. Plus whoever else could make it. WAY fun!

Sounds great! Start signing up now folks!

Edit: Actually, what about August? I know it's soon...but the school year is usually crazy, at least for myself, and a three day weekend may not be enough. I dunno. What do you guys think?

Unless the company ships me out to Tonopah (rather unlikely) I'll have to miss this one as well.
