Does anyone regularly listen to movie soundtracks? If you do, what are your top 5 favorites? Mine are in order as follows..

Pride and Prejudice - Jean-Yves Thibaudet (Amazing classical piano...)
Cowboy Bebop: Blue (However.. it's like first too.. I can't choose between the two)
A Series of Unfortunate Events - Thomas Newman
Peter Pan (new one) - James Newton Howard
Moulin Rouge or Cars - Randy Newman (I can't choose)

So yeah... I'm curious. Some other good ones are of course, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, most John Williams stuff.
Whatever happens..happens.

I love the Ocean's 11 and 12 soundtracks, the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack, and the Kill Bill soundtracks. But it seems like you're the types who might know about the Ares soundtrack, and I'm trying to find F.R.E.D.'s Theme in .midi format so I can use it as a ringtone... some searches of the boards here haven't turned up anything. I have the .mp3 version, and it seems like it may possibly have been a midi-style file originally, so I have hope. Thanks for the help!

(edit) Also, you put Blue in for Cowboy Bebop where you put the artists' names for the other soundtracks. You probably already know this even though you didn't put her name down, but the CB soundtrack is mainly by Yoko Kanno.

I haven't recently listened to any new soundtracks, but I use to listen to the Smokey and the Bandit soundtrack a lot.

I was considering getting the Cars soundtrack when it came out...

Haha - for all I know you're just some re-incarnate old-bie that had his account wiped or some such nonsense :P

But if not then welcome!!! Welcome to this place that I have just re-arrived at. Welcome to this scary world that is Ares Trash Talk.

I can't promise I'll be here for long...

And btw - question: Is there any way to see the whole posting history of a member anymore? I can't seem to go back more than 5 of my own posts?

Another excellent soundtrack: Gladiator ;) (had to stay on topic B) )

I didn't see your edit ;) I put "Blue" down just to indicate that I enjoy the Blue soundtrack more than just the normal one.

If you're interested.. here's a KILLER sax solo from one of The Seatbelts. Here :P

I meant no offense Mr. Foo, welcome!

2001: A Space Odyssey Soundtrack
John Powell - Bourne Supremacy Soundtrack
Soundtrack to Ken Burns' The Civil War

Wow... I have zero movie soundtracks. I have a few game soundtracks, but no movie soundtracks.
