I forgot about those... I have most of them still in that big archive, but only the Deimos Rising tracks are on my playlist...

Yeah, apparently so.

I have to say though, it's really the game soundtracks that are the best. Doomtroopers, Unite!

I just bought the soundtrack for 300, all kinds of awesome. Also listen to bits from Romeo and Juliet quite often. Almost anything from The Lord of The Rings is good. Not sure I can mention many others, I don't actually listen to soundtracks as much as I'd like to.

I have the Return of the King, Star Wars (surprised I'm the first one with that) and Batman soundtracks.

Star Wars is meh. Good for movies, not so good for just listening.

It depends on the song really. The Episode III soundtrack is probably the best. But only certain tunes. You've heard Meco's rendition yeah?

And because I'm a girl.. I'm partial to the "Across the Stars" theme in Episode two. I could listen to that forever.. Same with the theme from Schindler's List.

It was Anakin and Padme's love theme. So it's pretty much in any scene with the two of them exclusively.

Hehe just happened upon this topic, not really a "regular" here at all. If you like game soundtracks hit up "Pro Pinball: Fantastic Journey" and "LEGO: Rock Raiders" I played both those back when I still had a PS1. The game discs also doubled as CD's if you ever poped it in yur stereo, I uploaded both of 'em onto Itunes and still listen to 'em (They are the best game music I've listened to). Other great soundtracks are: FF7 (Nobuo Uematsu is a genius) and anything from Yoko Kanno and Shiro Sagisu is good. A good movie soundtrack would be Lawrence of Arabia. Ferazel's Wand has a great soundtrack mainly all ASW games do. Hehe and Interpol is a great band. :P Oh! Almost forgot there are a few good "ogg." files within the contents of some freeware games. One's called Gate88 and the others are all inside games from ABAgames. It's hard to get to the english/Macintosh download page for ABAgames, but I do have the link somewhere... If you really want to play some fuun mac games or wanna disect 'em for the music files just reply askin for em. You could probally buy the PS1 games off ebay or something for super cheap, and they're really good soundtracks. Well I think I've said enough.

Adios all,
Jacks

I never notice if the soundtrack to a movie is good until I listen to it in the absence of the movie. Which basically requires buying the soundtrack, which, by and large, nevers happens.
