Hmm.. So you don't get hair in your food? If you're charitable.. you could give it to charity. Hell.. I'd pay you to do it. It could be an ambrosia-wide endeavor.

Pufer, I must see a pic of you.

Currently, I'm picturing you as a wise, older folk. The long hair helps the image too. I'm thinking along the lines of Gandalf the Grey.

Unfortunately, I'm probably a quite a lot closer to looking like a young Gandalf, only with longer, redder hair and a shorter beard, than a Vin Diesel. This is, however, the worst, lowest-resolution photo ever (and I usually don't have a moustache). I'll eventually come up with a better shot and post it.

You'll be Gandalf in a few years, Pufer. No worries.

You do look like a young Gandalf, but in a good way.

Gandalf's a lot more mal-nourished looking, though.

Long-Beard Benefit #4: Prior to saying anything the bearded man can stroke his beard while looking thoughtful and people will just assume that he knows what he's talking about.

That is a perk. If you do that without a beard.. you look stupid.

I don't get the point of a beard, either.

I would say you look more like this.

It's part of the stereotypical "wise old man" act. Along with the stereotypical "Father Christmas" act. Surely that's reason enough?

I don't think I'd have to the patience to wait for a beard to grow. With the way my facial hair grows in, though, I could cosplay a badass X2 or X3 Wolverine. Pic of movie Wolverine, for reference.
