I was half blind once. The story involved an angry bumblebee.

Isn't it just a guy with a guitar pointing at me?

...always pointing...

It's a guitar player bending the neck of his guitar, as seen in this video at about 1:10

http://www.youtube.c...h?v=KPObq_EvIg8

And now that I look at it more closely I can see how someone could misunderstand the avatar.

I was never half blind, but my right eye was once saved by a cheap pair of supermarket sunglasses (got hit in the face with a tree branch, shattered and mangled the sunglasses in such a manner that if I hadn't had the glasses on, I would've gotten an inch long twig in my eye).

Well, I always play airsoft with sunglasses on. I'm sure there are plenty of times I would have gotten hit in the eye, and those little 6mm plastic pellets could probably do serious damage.

Talking about sunglasses, I bought some the other day. I think I am going to change my avatar to the Pfhor Leno, a Leno I made. I am unsure if it is up yet, though.

My glasses saved my left eye from the frisbee. If I have to use glasses, the frisbee probably would have put me in the hospital and permanantly impaired my vision.

My sunglasses saved my eyes from a few stray tree branches when I was walking through a particularly dense mess.

My sunglasses got bent, beat up, and stolen. I guess I didn't get the right brand.

I don't wear sunglasses for cosmetic reasons. I find the polarized lenses useful for driving.

So *that's* why I can't remember anything from my first four years or so of my life...

Polarized prescription wrap-arounds in extra-dark Ray-Ban green tint are the kings of driving lenses.

I wouldn't try them while driving. That would just be a bad idea.

At least, not until I've walked around outside a bit with them.

But I have heard that you lose prescription sunglasses very quickly. So I say no.
