Microsoft has to be semi-diplomatic because they have the inferior product, complete with ActiveX. Firefox, on the other hand, updates behind your back without asking you.

Which could be bad. Especially if some of their "upgrades" are like Apple's "upgrades".

When I click the post count out of this topic out in the forum, firefox no longer forces it into a new tab. But anything else, and it's fine.

On the other hand, it's a beta build.

I haven't had any problems with Firefox 1.5 Beta. Except for the fact that my laptop died, so I'm stuck on my Mac for the interweb, which I use Safari for.

And IE should die a horrible, horrible death.

My roommate is in a very similar program. Actually, alot of kids here are. I got around the placements tests because my AP scores tested me out of them.

But seriously, I tried it out. It still sucks. The positioning of the tabs is screwed up. It's not user friendly at all.

But at least the major industry browser is taking a step in the right direction, which can only be good.

Taking IE in a new direction that possibly wipes out Firefox (heh... right) means the next IE will be a pathetic remnant of the first one... just like IE 6 is this pathetic thing.

I will always use Safari/Firefox/Konquerer! Or anything else that is not IE. I've lost all respect for all forms of that browser.

Konqueror? That thing is just a clone of WinExplorer/Internet Explorer that has big problems with the webboards. Microsoftish security bugs or no, I don't like it.

/me betatests DeerPark.

I prefer Safari to Firefox, myself.
