I say we send him to Russia to rebuild the Soviet Union.

There is a possibility he will, and then he'll overthrow us though. So on second thought, scratch that.

Can they rebuild a country on alcohal? Maybe, but I think if anything he's make the Ruskies more friendly towards us by getting them all drunk and jolly...just like the do in Ireland. :P

They know when to let it die. They just don't know not to revive things.

Apparently neither do we. Why has gravdigging all of a sudden turned into this cult fad?

I blame the abundance of discarded apple cores.

Actually, I jokingly suggested it to ankhwatcher over IRC. Then when I glanced at his profile and saw what he was up to... I regretted it.

I think we need more discarded apple cores. That's why I bought a bushel of them.

The punning is almost as annoying as the gravedigging.

Should we just drop ATT for a week? It was supposed to help the quality of posts last time we did that?

Or should we just send this topic for another loop in another direction?

He's got a point there. I have entropy on my side...my posts can't get more condensed...they can only get more disorganized.

I think if we all make an effort to improve post quality, we'll start making better posts.

But I don't think it's going to happen.

There's something vaguely disquieting about that statement.

No, it isn't really very disquieting. Ankhatcher is writing his college thesis on his interactions with people on the Internet, slowly gaining our trust, until he reveals it all. He told nobody but me. And if I tell anybody, he said he won't introduce me to a real hot Irish chick. Ah, ######, there goes that meeting with Diane...
