Timeline for Cythera

Ok, this topic is about a timeline for Cythera.
If you want to say if this a good or bad idea, please do so in the Cythera Web Board topic.
This topic is only concerned with the attempt.
There are several questions that first must be asked about this:
Should it follow the main events of Cythera (what happens in the TSs), or should it attempt to represent the doing of the characters that are present in the TSs and Cythera itself (and thus extend to times before Cythera)?
Should it take into account only the events that happened in the TSs that were completed or the events that happened in all TSs (dead or finished)?
What time scale should be used?
This will require lots of participation and the help of some older members (who know more about the world of Cythera than I do).
I'll give my answer to some of these questions:
I think it should follow the main events of Cythera. There are too many characters to trace the backgrounds of.
I think it should only take into account the events that happened in completed TSs.
I think a time scale of BG (Before Game) and AG (After Game) should be used.
What is considered to be the TS that is set earliest (not the TS that was first completed on the boards, which would be Once Again) in the world of Cythera? When is it set?

If you're going to make a timeline of the Team Stories, some of them have to be thrown out, because they're on a completely different tangent from reality (such as Once Again). There's a mess that arises when trying to figure out which story takes precedence over another, as some have characters going, and others at the same time are using those characters in another place entirely. Thus, there's probably some parallel time lines with alternate dimensions and everything. At any rate, ST, Echoes, and SG all use the same "alternate universe", so the recent stories are easy.
I think most of us tried to keep the events in the original game intact for its span of time, so virtually all characters aren't Cytherian (which may be an issue, someone else brought it up before) and they arrive years after the game concludes.
I would personally use the Cytherian year system, if only I knew what year the game took place. I know there are some gravestones for the recently departed in the game which have an indication of the year (9xx?), but I can't run Cythera on this computer, so I can't look it up.

This is mainly an attempt to inspire more interest in the web board and attract new members.
So, anyone interested?

Instead of doing a TS to keep people occupied, we could hold something different. At the moment I don't really have anything in mind but I will think on it, it seems that a lot of people don't really have the time for TS's at the moment and there is a lack of people, maby we should find a way to get more people to join the Cythera forum before starting another TS. Maby we could hold a competition of some sort to get more people interested.

Just my opinion, this here is a bad idea. I mainly say this because the whole continuity issue ended up causing the exit of one of our greatest members, Bryce, from formal participation in the board. I think that there are certainly better ways to attract other members. I first came here because I simply loved Cythera.

I thought Bryce left because nobody wanted to figure out the discontinuity of the stories.
I'm not sure how making a timeline will help new members, especially if they're...new...they won't remember most of the old stories.

The discontinuity of the stories is highly related to the formation of a continuity, in my opinion. To solve the discontinuities, a continuity must be reached.

My point exactly. Selax mentioned something about using it to attract members a few posts back.

Sorry, now that I look back, that was really confusing. I'm arguing that a timeline shouldn't be made. Now to clarify:
I said:
...the whole continuity issue ended up causing the exit of one of our greatest members, Bryce, from formal participation in the board.
You replied:
I thought Bryce left because nobody wanted to figure out the discontinuity of the stories.
I replied in an attempt to explain my first statement's rationale:
The discontinuity of the stories is highly related to the formation of a continuity, in my opinion. To solve the discontinuities, a continuity must be reached.
This referred to the fact that I said Bryce left because of the coninuity issue. You asked about that being the disconinuity of the stories. My last statement was my attempt to explain why I referred to it in the first place as the continuity issue.
I hope that clears things up. Again, I apologize for the confusion.

I guess there isn't enough interest to attempt this experiment.
Please, everybody back to the Cythera Web Board topic to propose other ideas.
