well it seems I've become incredibly lazy in summer; too lazy to even do something I enjoy: C4D.

So I'll give you my basic idea:

A sphere, kind of glassy and transparent (but maybe with some wavy smooth color variation, or possibly black and white), with the letters ATT (with the correct, red-yellow color) floating inside (maybe glowing). I was thinking of making a stand for this orb, with cool stuff around it that made it look powerful, or I would look for a picture of a sea-creature to hold the orb.

The easiest way to work in 3D is to get a 3D program. There are tons of usable demos (for instance, I started off with the C4D demo; the only problem is you can't save so you have to use the internal renderer and then take a screenshot). Then making a sphere is as easy as clicking the sphere button.

Yeah that is a pretty cool image trah, but i think it would look cooler with the spring
coiled the other way to give a sort of pedistal effect.
The other problem i have with this is that it gives off a bowling vibe.

The red lines (excluding that star like thing on top) make it look like you just took a screenshot of the editor; I'd get rid of those. Also, I'd make the sphere bigger, the focus is the pedestal now, which isn't what we want.

Texturing is at least half the battle. Look at mine; without textures it would just be a sphere and a modified spring.

That's OK. You would've had a hard time finding something people instantly associate with me anyway. I've not provided much material in the image department (possible exception of the Snuffles holding a flower, but you'd have to have a good memory to come up with that).

Trah: I did that because the current textures are a little too dark to see, but I didn't want to remove them for the shot because I made the pedestal overly complex, and it's actually split up into about 10 sections that are all named the same thing... I didn't want to reapply them, I was just showing you what I was making anyway.

I'll have a squid above it with swirling tentacles spreading out wide and coming down around the sphere. When I'm done with the sphere textures it will say ATT like Sauron's eye.

I think it's a good idea.

[edit] Also, I think I need to make the pedestal bottle neck a bit to the bottom, I didn't see that in the picture before now.
