Dark decided to give the Oboloi to the Dark Cicada Sacadauron in exchange for a ring, and he nearly convinced Night to join him, but Dawn took advantage of their moment of weakness to steal the bag of oboloi.

Suddenly, the tourists from Kosha arrived and began attacking Sacadauron's forces in an effort to distract them long enough for Dawn to do what had to be done. She had to destroy the oboloi to save Cythera.

Dark, Dusk, and Night followed, intent on helping Dawn (just because they had nothing else to do). Unknown to both Dusk and Night, however, Dark couldn't bring himself to destroy the oboloi and was planning to steal it for himself...
