*Avatara, far away from the group, looked down at the northern sea from the top of the mountain he was sitting on. The same mountain that over 1,200 years later would be the site of a mysterious black fortress...the very same that Alaric would hide in while Cythera thought he was dead. Avatara looked back near the pass, at the site in which a tavern would stand, also over a thousand years from now, though 40 years before the fortress.

Avatara enjoyed the sunset, and used it to clear his head. He had to carefully think up a plan that could bring them home. The best solution was simple, create a time gate using the energies of the void and enter to their original time-maybe off a couple of days but it was pretty accurate. The problem with that plan was, however, that Avatara alone didn't have nearly enough energy to create the portal. Even if Slayer helped out, using his stored magic, they couldn't even come close. There had to be another way, there just had to be one...

Avatara was still sitting peacefully on the mountaintop when night fell, and for the next three days he sat unmoving, even though his magically-tuned hearing could hear loud roars of Titans and an explosion far off in the distance...*

After Grapper replicated some of his food and the group prepared to take it back to Crysothemis.
"What if Crysothemis gets a little curious about how 5 loaves of bread, 5 fish, and 5 pieces of bacon could be identical?" says Rogan

*As they went along, Grapper stumbled many times, and the loaves of bread ended up being disfigured enough that nobody could see any similarities in them...more or less that they were bread.*

"Where is Crysothemus?" Rogan asked.
The party looked around, but to no avail. "Where is anybody?" MacMan asked.
"That's odd," said J.Ace. "Where could they be?"

"They are in the dungeon."
The group looks around to find nobody nearby.
"We know who you are and you have killed 3 of our honor guard. You will be punished for your crimes. Come to the stronghold or Crysothemus will suffer....

"And where is the stronghold?" ... no answer. "Looks like our 'hosts' have gone" Moonshadow said. "Then we'll have to find that stronghold ourselves" Rogan said "and we'd better hurry! I suggest we go to Catamarca and see if we can find out which stronghold they mean ..." "Wait, I don't think that's necessary" J.Ace interrupted "See what I've found while you just stood there?" He hold out a map "It has been lieing (sp?) on that table-" he held out a small piece of paper "- together with this." He unfolded the piece of paper and began to read it: "If you don't arrive here for trial within one week the woman and her child will suffer for it"

"Well," Said MacMan, "I guess we better do what they said. We don't want Crysothemus and Alaric to suffer for our wrongdoings."

"That's exactly what I think. Just imagine what would happen, if Alaric will not become LandKing!!!" "A terrible thought. It would totally change Cythera's history!" Rogan agreed.

"Let us go to the stronghold with our mana powered up, but our weapons sheathed" Rogan suggested, "they`ll never know what hit them."

Is it a good idea to show them we are mages? or magic users?

"Well, it`s better than charging at them with our blades drawn" Rogan responded, "it would be odd if they discovered it before it is too late for them to react. We don`t know how many they are, and what their intentions are, but they got the life of our king in their hands. We must be extremly careful."

"Rogan is right. We shoudn't take any risks. And they seem to have some kind of magic, too. I don't want to be caught unawares again. With our magic powered up we can react more quickly! Anyways, don't they already know we are magic-users?"

Lindor broke the stillness.
"Well, no, they don't know for sure, but they can probably guess. Let's start off! The thought of the woman and her child in undeserving punishment upsets me."

Rogan kicks Grapper and yells: "How can you even think of sleeping in a situation like this?? We`re here to rescue our future king and his mother from certain doom, and you fall asleep! By all the names of the Tyrants, what...ohh..." Rogan takes a sip of his wine.

"I don't know what you think, but I think it's time we get going! That stronghold is far away." Moonshadow said. "I don't know, it's night. We should sleep now and leave tomorrow." Grapper objected. "And waste more time?" Moonshadow asked.

Grapper is off bathing in a pool. Avatara seems to be meditating as usual. J.Ace21 is working on his magic dagger and Moonshadow is helping Talos getting food for breakfast...
The air violently stirs once more and the Tyrant's - obviously very annoyed at the group -image appears....

"Listen, all of you! I'm tired of your wasting my time! I'll give you one more chance. Were I not the better part made mercy, woman and child would have been dead by now. But bewarned, even a Tyrant's patience is limited, and if you force me to sent my warriors ..." he left the sentence unfinished, a silent threat, and the image disappeared.

Grapper, finishing his bath and seeing that they where still arguing, decided to go of by himself in search of the strong hold.

(If you don't mind my asking who all is on this mission.)
