Sorry LCA, i've been suffering from a major modelers block, and buisy life. I've tried several things on the AST's and remaining command destroyers but none of them are working. So it may be some time before I am able to think anything up that will work. However, if you have some idea of what you want, drawings and such, could you send them to me? Its a lot easier if i have something to go off of...

I hate being unable to model things like I used to... Pick up strata and a few moments later ship... Maybe i've just run out of ideas.

Hmmm, does the expression "penalty clause" spring to mind... (Small print, paragraph 17diii, subsection 4c89).
Still, no worries.
The Assault ships are more important than the Command Destroyers.
They generally would be modified carriers or battleships, as a large platform is necessary for the ship. Extra engines would be a feature, and or a communications array.
The ships so-far are cool. Top notch, and handle very well. So munch a few caffeine pills and a tech manual or two and bang out a few more! (We always push our sceintists to the edge in this corporation!)

I've done most of the modeling on the sal AST and CD. Also nearly done with aud CD.

I hate modelers block.

Ah, nothing like breaking through that "modeller's block..."
Those sal ships are cool, handle really well.

A suggestion for the Human Assault ship is to model it on the Marines mother ship in Alien 2 (as distinct from the drop ship).

Also, the Gaitori Assault ship could be a modified carrier perhaps, as they are a failing power and lacking in large platform designs and the rseources to develop new ships, especially having spent all their money on the new DDC...

/heads back to stellar engineering...

So, have you begun any level-making, yet? And, if so, how many levels are done out of how many, etc.?

The levels are all done, finished long ago, except for the ships and systems yet to be developed.
8 levels if I remember correctly.
That was the easy bit.

Hmmm, I might add a few more.

I think of "made" as "put together in Hera." From your statement, I take it they've been planned out, though not yet actualized?

Er, no, they have been completed, finished, done, constructed, and part tested.
I could post with what I have now, but I want certain ships to be in it.
So, a little re-arranging to be done.

Hmm, LCA, how badly do you need the Ishman CD & AST? I'm baffeled at how Nathen Lamont did some of the aspects of Ishman ships. Especialy in an old version of strata... I'm still trying to figure out what an Ishman AST would look like.
I have a few ideas down for the CD, i'll probably get it to you in a few days. Along with the Obish & Human CD & AST.

You can skip the Ishman AST. That is the one ship I do have, using the "Human Obish" hybrid battleship sprite. So no worries there.

Le humain et ishman AST sont finis.

Quand je finis le cruise missile, je envoyez-les vous.

Oh man, my french is getting really shaky. I'm not sure I got that right... And i've only got a month before french 2 starts... Why is it that a language is really easy to learn, and then super-easy to forget? I was doing really great during the school year, but as soon as i'm out into the real world I forget most of it. Kinda bad for someone who won 2nd in state for french dialogue no?

Votre Franglais n'est pas mal Monsieur le CielFöx!
J'attend les autres sprites.

Hmmm, my spoken French is better than my written, but still not so good heh!
I didn't find it that easy to learn either. Also, I had to learn the "real" French later
in France!

Keep em rollin...

Improving...,

Hmm, the Sal CD could do with being bigger (should really be bigger than the carrier),
and more bulky, more like the carrier in fact, only more menacing....

Naah, the Bazidanese are only bit part players, and although they have a mighty empire they only appear to have one kind of warship, perhaps because it is easy to clone. Though they do have rater a lot of them.

Perhaps there are other kinds of ship we have not yet seen...
...there's a plot for a plug!
