Deep within the dark now silent recesses of yet another former bar, abandoned for centuries now, a low hum can just be heard, rather like that of a noisy refrigerator.
The aeons old Hagrabiscuit Vending Machine grinds to life, munching on the extra-extra-longer-than-long-life-battery. It's G16 processor provides it with enough intelligence to realise that all the customers have gone...
The Hagrabiscuit Vending Machine begins to hum loudly and after a false start or two dematerialises with a grinding whirr. A broom that was once leaning against it falls to the floor and kills a hapless mouse who happened to be passing by on an unrelated errand.
It's tough being a rodent sometimes...
.
.
.
.
.
SQUEAK said the Death of Rats, deftly dodging one of the tumbleweeds that always appear in such settings.
------------------
Oh, so it is another bug hunt then...

A lone figure stands, wind-swept in the fields of improbability.
Cows in sombreros summon strange peaches.
The music of the spheres courses through the air, and it is revealed as actually elevator music.
The figure raises a paw, and a swirling portal appears.
The probability level begins to rise in the portal, and the tiny figure sits suddenly up into it.
Hamster drops out of nowhere, and crawls up the bar. He orders some peanuts, gets a packet of cashews, and chuckles at his great luck.
------------------
I scream. You scream. We all scream. For pork loin.

Transcend this, biatch.

No occupants = no customers
No customers = no trade
No trade = no business
No business = no money
No money = no staff wages
No staff wages = no staff
No staff = no protection
No protection = WZ
Finally, I can rule over the bar without interference.
