We've all seen the chronicle challenges for the obscure game NPCs two people in the world know about, or imposing misfortune upon poor, neglected TS characters, but in all these years, there is one being that has stood apart from the fray, untouched by parody. Well, the time has come. No longer shall he be forgotten!
Yes, this summer's challenge is to write a story about Selax! And like all good Selax stories, it should contain two or more of the following:
- Selax procrastinating on writing a story about Selax. (Whether it's the character-Selax procrastinating or person-Selax procrastinating is up to you.)
- A cheesy romantic subplot
- A summer book reading contest (bonus points if Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, or Star Wars are mentioned in some capacity)
- A trip to the zoo
- Cats
- Dinosaurs
- Violet [sic] television shows
- An excessive load of homework
- Spending time with family
- Not attending Retsy's birthday party
The suggested minimum length for this challenge is 400 words, but nobody actually pays attention to this number anyway. It's mostly to discriminate against Twitter users! #140isnotenough
Since it's a summer challenge, it'll be open for entries up until the autumn equinox!

To be fair, other people usually find their characters victimized in chron challenges because quite often no one else takes the time to post a chron challenge. I just take advantage of that fact on occasion
