Well, the chronicles board seems in need of activity, so I thought I might as well go ahead and post another chron challenge.
Challenge:
Write a chron that is at least 300 words long (not that I'll be counting) describing some important event in the life of either an NPC from the game or one of your characters from the TSs.
Requirements:
-For an NPC, it must take place before or during the game
-For a TS character, it must take place after the game
-Must involve at least one NPC (not necessarily as the main character)
-Must reference your favorite city in the game
-Must mention the peculiar difficulty associated with fishing in the game

SUMMERTRON CHALLENGE 2000 WRITE STORY THAT IS AT LEAST 2048 CHARACTERS LONG. STORY MUST TAKE PLACE DURING SUMMER. SETTING MUST BE INSPIRED BY GREECE. ALL CHARACTERS MUST SECRETLY BE ROBOTS (DOES NOT HAVE TO COME UP IN STORY).

Fine, people who can't choose a favorite city can write a 5000 word essay describing each city and giving their reasons for liking each. This essay must have proper references, footnotes, an abstract, etc.
People who haven't played the game can go play the game and then write a 3000 word essay describing the experience.

You proposed a challenge without considering how hard it would be for certain people (that is, me, because let's face it, you know I'm the only one who's going to respond), but I suppose I should've just been grateful that this challenge didn't involve reading any Tolkien for research; so you responded with an alternate challenge which wasn't at all reasonable and sounded more like homework than a fun activity.
I'm attempting something for the original challenge, but I've only got about 150 words so far.

Actually, I did consider the difficulty in the original challenge: that's why it is a lot easier than last year. As for the alternate challenge, it was supposed to be unreasonable; that is, the alternate challenge is intended to be a joke just to annoy you (and Katerei if she decides to reply again).

I'd been meaning to write about what happened to the Sapphire Book of Victory for a while, and adding robots seemed to make it easier. I think it qualifies for this challenge. Link.
