I've been alright. Keeping busy, doing the whole college thing.
Probably won't be joining a TS but I'll be around.
Good to know this place has gotten more active and hasn't died

Yay Muse is back! In light of this, I decided to stop by—I haven't been gone quite as long as Muse but my last post was in like December or something.

Unfortunately, I can't visit regularly or anything, but I'll try to drop in every once in a while.

I'm terrible

my time is being consumed by school and life & I'm also in a band now

also think it's just that I don't have much to contribute to the forums so I don't really post a lot
I swear I'll be around more though, even if it's just lurking. Also the irc is helpful

and yeah I'm in a band, we just played a show Saturday ( we opened for the Protomen! if you're a nerd you know who they are )
We got another show coming up this Saturday


I certainly do have music to show off if anyone's interested.

This is a demo our frontman made for our kickstarter (we ended up reaching our goal, yay)
it's a buncha clips from random songs from our album

Dark Mirror is still going, and there’s also a new TS-ish Tavern-ish thing going on as well, which will probably lead into a new TS.

Heh, I don't actually have a DA account. iKaterei linked to a discussion thread where Gandreas (the guy who made Cythera) was commenting on someone missing Cythera, and I saw you had made a comment there as well.

Don't know who the Protomen are, but I'll check them out.

Cool that you're in a band. The live performance was pretty good, hard to decide if it was better live or the recordings on facebook. The songs on facebook were also good! It's cool you guys are doing covers of game music, but you do songs that are not typically covered (while mixing in the popular ones too!). Have you played all those games? Honestly I don't think there are a lot of people here who have.

Anyways, I like the album on groove shark, if you want to talk more about it, then drop by the irc channel sometime. And good luck with your band.

That's a pretty good Selax impression.

I'm just the bassist haha

at present pretty much all the songs we play were chosen by the frontman (the accordion guy)
he's the founder & only remaining original member. (the band's been around 5 years and has gone through 18 different members) I only just joined & this version of the band has been playing together just since October.
Slowly gearing towards playing more original stuff but we'll always still do covers and are open to requests.

I'm the least geeky member when it comes to videogames. When I joined the only song I recognized was our FFVII Those Who Fight cover.

also yeah the audio on the video is s###, which is ironic as that venue did the best sound mixing out of all the places we've played.

I'm only kidding about joining the TS, Muse . I can well understand how being in school can make it very difficult to find the time for the stories. I just try to make a habit of rallying new recruits for TSs, even if I don't personally have time to post.
