This is mine...

It's my office that is set up on the top floor of my Dad's house (we work from home). It is a huge improvement on this, which is my old room when I was sharing a house...

Where do you contribute to this board from? And are you happy with it?

This is great for the view, but until about 1pm I get the sun right in my eyes...

I was gonna say, thought you'd moved all your stuff...

I'll post a picture of my setup sometime this afternoon, I have to get ready to leave in a half hour for class.

How dare you rate the furthering of your education above a web board! tongue.gif

Normally I would, but my desk (and my whole apartment, for that matter) is currently in a state that I fondly refer to as "mid-finals war zone." I don't tend to be all that neat a person to begin with, and adding large piles of cases and outlines alongside empty chip bags, Coke Zero cans, and beer bottles all over the place doesn't really help matters (if Fox hadn't made YouTube take down the cramming scenes (at the hotel) from Paper Chase, I'd post a link to it here).

That said, not all that much has changed since this picture was taken, except that I'm living in a different state and the desk and printer barely visible to the right of the image were left behind (and replaced by a big damn laser printer and a three foot high penguin who holds my mouse). That was also about as neat as my desk ever gets.

Pufer, why the heck would you take apart a G3 and use it's shell as a trash can?

Anyway, here's my overworked computer slave lives.

Whoa, I have to see this penguin you speak of.

Once I find my USB cable I'll upload the pictures of my desk/bed I just took.

It's not a trash can (it's also not a G3, it's a 1st Gen bondi iMac, which happened to have a G3 in it, but that doesn't make it a G3 - G3s were beige and boxy or blue and mini-tower-ish), that's actually where I shove all of my most important documents (taxes, receipts, credit card agreements, crap like that). I was originally going to turn it into a MacQuarium, but I never got around to it, so I started treating it like a storage cubby.

I have a laptop that I use as my desktop (MBP, as seen in the picture above) and a laptop that I use as a laptop (Lenovo X61t). I haven't really used a desktop at home since the first half of senior year of high school when I had a G3 AIO (molar mac). For Songemot's benefit, that was seven years ago.

Show me a laptop with wireless power and I'll be impressed wink.gif

I know it exists, before someone links me to a news article. But I'm talking about it in someone's home, not in a lab.

Mine has no wire. I prefer to think of it as a cord.

What have I told you about trying to be funny and smart, Songemot? It doesn't become you...
