I don't remember seeing you before, so welcome to Cythera! ^_^

Ariadne is locked up in an abandoned farmhouse in the woods west of Odemia. The house is guarded by her ruffian kidnappers, and the head-ruffian holds her key. For that reason, his corpse doesn't disappear when you leave the area like normal corpses do (the key is in his corpse-window).

But I like the disguise idea better :D Imagine the possibilities if Cytheran disguising were possible...

I'll become even more undignified than this

Greetings, Bauman, and welcome to the Cythera Web Board :P .

If you are having problems killing all of the ruffians in the area that 453 indicated, you might want to work on improving your character's skills (or items) or possibly get a few people to join your party.

Relating to disguises...

(Unfortunately it reverts to normal when you take a step, unless you turn yourself into an item, in which case you can't walk).

Welcome to the webboards Bauman, beware danger lurks around every mysterious corner! Woooooooo!

Make sure you've talked to that guard long enough and the secret path to the hide out is not far from the city you get the quest from. If you still have problems a Quest Guide was recently put up on the forums, check it out (ONLY AS A LAST RESORT!!!).

WAAA? How does that work...? I want one, could you maybe cast the disguise spell on another character and they would stay like that? I'd like a demon stamp please. :P Oh oh oh, no wait! How about a queen hydra or a scylla!

Welcome Bauman! It's so awesome when new people turn up!

Two Jacks: o.O Why do you want to look like a green barrel with tentacles on top?
And the winner of the text only entry goes to CrazyChick for "Watch for B&B on bridge." Encountering the B&B anywhere is dangerous enough. Throwing a bridge into the recipe is an equation for disaster. - Ragashingo

Chicks dig the huge beak and giant green tentacles! :P Ever seen a squid? They get all the ladies, and those sperm whales are just jealous.

Edit: Wuh-oh, hope this post didn't come out the wrong way.

I think you got your reasoning a bit wonky there...

I think that discussion of this might be better suited to a new topic, but I'll quickly answer your question, Two Jacks. Using hex-edit, I change the "20 00" (presumably the object number for the hero picture) near the byte controlling position (located through Bryce's tutorial) to "24 50" (the object number for the mage, provided by Bryce's notes).

By the way, Bauman, if you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
