Of note:

This is one of the "items" that you can create in your inventory based upon the material supplied by Bryce.
As for teleporting, we did, as you know, get it working. Originally, we were thinking along the same lines of in-city teleportation, but as Pallas pointed out, each region loads completely different tiles and everything.
Our first attempt included a character in the upper-left corner of each Odemia and Catamarca (since these have the most similar tileset of all other cities). The hope was that the map's coordinates were the same there; thusly, only the region's number would show up as one of the differences in the save file. Well, I'm sure it may have showed up somewhere in that file, but there were literally thousands upon thousands of other differences that made it impossible to narrow in on anything.
It quickly became evident that that method would not work. Then Bryce came on here (Yah!) and informed us of the ability to hack holes, staircases, and other teleporting items to make them point to certain regions. And that is how we accomplished all inter-regional teleportation. There were a couple of locations that we reached that were odd, and one of them I hadn't known existed.
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x230/El...ertheSewers.jpg
You know that place at the way back of the Cademian sewers where the wall is collapsed and the tiles are like a cave's? Well, apparently there is a rocky outcropping there that will lead you to this room. There's a waterfall and even a fountain at the back, but it doesn't talk. You should try going there yourself.
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x230/El...Outcropping.jpg
That's just a link to place where you can tie the rope.
All of the later teleportation locations lead to one place: the mysterious nothing map. This map has already been the subject of infinite debate so I won't go into it too much. However, I do feel it mentionable that the Tree of Life Region has an entrance to this map.
http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x230/El.../NowHesOmen.jpg
There is a "Nothing" person in the center of the map with the graphic of a guard. But if you kill him twice, he will become "Omen" with the same graphic. Odd.
Well that's all pictures I wanted to put in this topic for now. Special thanks to Selax for being particularly persistent in trying different teleporting regions.
Edit: Replaced pics with links.

Teleporter is a mage character who has stairs to every city in the game (except LKH).
Tree is a mage character with a set of stairs to the Tree of Life.
Zone is for those hackers who wish to teleport themselves to various zones.
(I admit that they are rather poorly named.)

*sigh* Well, Selax did upload them to the add-ons, but apparently there is nobody around who can accept them and actually allow them to be downloaded. Hopefully an admin got some message saying that there are add-ons pending.

I mean this:
The download happens so fast that the error ocures while it's either downloading or un-zipping.
About the addons page, I also had trouble with "older games" add-on when I uploaded my Ferazel level set recently. After waiting a long time I finally sent a PM to spamguy (a ferazel mod) asking for him to upload it. I would recomend PMing Avatara or a different Cythera mod.

Anyone have a suggestion?
Two Jacks: I think PMing Avatara would be useless. When I mentioned it to him on irc, he informed me that some server change has left him unable to moderate the addons page. You'd probably have to PM an admin.

Another suggestion: I'll try downloading the files onto my G5 computer, uploading them onto my e-mail (Unzipped), then try downloading them onto my G4 and see if that works. I mean they are relativly small files, it should work right?

Would it be possible to have spells that link to all the cites in the game? I mean there is direct nexus, so there could also be a direct Cadiema as well, right? This could balance out the system (sort of) so that it would cost a lil magic to teleport each time, instead of having infinite teleports. Nah stairs are cooler! Just trying to see how far we can go here.

Two Jacks: I haven't done any experimenting with spells. I have worked on scrolls a little, but they appear to be too complicated to easily use for such a purpose.

Basically, no. The effects are defined in the data file, not the saved game. You could probably change which ones your character knows, and potentially discover some new ones that way (removed from the final version or NPC/monster only), but I doubt there is a "Direct Cadiema" among them.
There are some in-game-world problems with that too, I think. I can't say for sure (not being a Cytherian mage, obviously), but Directed Nexus is probably associated with that glowing purple triangle in LKH, and they would probably need to create one in the target city for you to teleport there.

I recall being able to use the fetch spell the nexus (making it disapear), so if were possible to pick up the peices of the nexus and put them some where else then maybe you could change the location... or maybe you could put the peices in different places and teleport randomly to those places when useing the spell, or bust your computer.
New uncomplete spells? Sounds interesting.

I have yet to find any uncomplete or new spells. I don't know if I have gone through them all. I think that I have, but it jumps around a bit, making it hard to tell.

Ok I know it took a while but I finally got around to it. No it didn't work, so at the current moment there's no way for me to play these save files.
Alas,

In other news, I think that I've discovered the code that indicates when an item is in one's inventory. The code that seems to indicate an item's position on the ground is much harder to understand, and I have not made much progress in that area. I have discovered how to duplicate the Sword of Heroes though.

Re: Swords
Why, when you can probably just make a Sword of Heros? Get it in your character's inventory and copy-paste the data.
I don't know if that will just work or not, but I'd start there. As to the more general problem of changing weapon stats: I doubt it. It's probably (almost certainly, really) in the Cythera Data file, not the saved game.
You'd be able to hack the swords to be treated with obsidian-that would have to be in the save file. It might also be possible to hack an axe to be sharpened, but this depends on how it stores the sharpness attribute. If the sharpened swords are separate items with the same graphic and name, you wouldn't be able to sharpen the axe unless it too had sharpened versions defined. This wouldn't be impractical (though it might get a bit unwieldy when defining objects)-there aren't that many levels of sharpness. If they're modifiers... well, the effects could be interesting, and possibly applied to still other things.
Its like what happens when you cross a phoenix with a super black hole; it's powerful enough to destroy itself, only to be reborn in a vicious cycle of torment and pain. Or in this case, nonsense.

Dude, imagine Redline Trash Talk; the unholy spawn of B&B and ATT.

You can give your sword an extremely sharp edge (using the same byte as follows the Sword of Heroes). Strangely, it does not seem to let me emulate the stages of the upgrade: every byte entered seems to give the sword a sharp edge. I tried it on an axe, but I'm not certain if it worked or not. The axe was not said to be extremely sharp, but it might still upgrade damage.
In other news, I have yet to successfully sticky an item (I think).

Could I get a dupo-SOH with pandora's box?

Easy put an item in a crate, then destroy the crate and bam! you've just stickied an item. To stick more items just replicate the crate before you destroy it. (I think crates auto stick.)
