Ambrosia Software Web Board: Getting Aethon to leave - Ambrosia Software Web Board

Hey, I was reading some old posts awhile back and remember someone bringing up the fact that they couldn't get Aethon to leave the party. I think it had something to do with learning the Missiles skill (something I never had a problem with), but I'm not sure. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that it IS possible to get Aethon to leave, but you must tell him to "wait" first. If you just tell him to leave, he says something like "Maybe it's time that I catch some rats of my own..." and nothing happens. If you say "wait", and then "leave", then he will say, "Fine, be that way." and he's gone!

w00t! now I can get rid of the guy that I never could get to join me! ^_^

If he won't join you, it means you haven't talked to Halos enough yet. Go to Catamarca, and talk to Proprontis' wife about Darius. She should say something about seeing him meeting with ruffians. Go back to Halos and ask about "kidnapping" and the result is he tells you to talk to Aethon. Aethon should now be able to join your party.

Hmm, I never had any problem getting Aethon to leave my party (mostly because I've never tried ).

Why would you need Haggling to get someone to tell you something? o.O And I believe she prefers if you close not only the door, but the windows as well ^_^

I remember I got the beggar to teach it to me when I was away... I think you hear his story until you don't have an available option that works, then say belt again... I think it's on Slayer's site, too

Why do you need to do that, why not just give him a bomb, ignite it, and get rid of him happily.

In any case, once he leaves he never comes back. He just dissapears. All the others go back to where they came from but he just vanishes.
