Hey guys I was just wondering how you get Aethon the ratcatcher to join your party in Cythera, I've tryed alot but just can't seem to get it to work. Are there other permanite characters that join your party besides Hector, Meagler, Timon, and Aethon? Also I was wondering how you actulay buy a house, I heard talk of it in Slayer's Guide but I was wondering if you can pay it off slowly or if you have to pay it all off at once. If it's a all or nothing deal then how do you carry around 10k oboli at once?

Yup, you have to pay the 10k all at once before you get the key to the house. I think there's a page on Slayer's Guide called "How to carry more than you can lift" ^_^
And there's no other permanent followers besides the ones you mentioned :/

Hmm I know how to see through your spoiler blocking, but call me stupid because I still can't seem to get Aethon. 
COuld I get a step by step? or is that to much trouble? Also is there anywhere that you can actulay fish?

Unfortunately, no. It needs deep water, and if there's any deep water on the map, it's someplace you can't reach. Maybe Glenn intended to implement boats or something, but but never got around to it.

I msut say, I thought boats were obviously lacking in the plot. I figured cata, would have some, and you could go out and fight the hydras(I might have my beasts wrong, but you all know the sea moster). Boats seemed lacking, especially since Alaric mentions coming from another land.

As I recall, there are no boats in Cythera because of the scylla; people are rather afraid of trying to go boating.
