I need to do something about people questioning their abbreviations. For the last time, everyone loves their abbreviations!

It wasn't about liking or not liking, but rather that I wasn't sure who you were talking about. ;) (Although the reference to a large number of characters was a pretty broad hint. B))

My abbrieviation is quite appropriate, I feel. Top marks, whoever's fault it was!

Thought I'd tabulate the ways in which Mort's lost his drinks, to date.

1: a misguided attempt to drink it
2: thrown onto Wizard's flaming beard
3: metal mug absorbed by Silverfish
4: knocked over by the tavern door, thrown by a Hrothrim that was hunting Cat
5: rained on by the Scribe
6: swallowed by a pink elephant
7: flattened by the collapsing tavern
8: knocked over by a dagger during a brawl
9: drunk by Aron's shadow, Steve
10: sucked away by another pink elephant
11: vaporised by a lightning bolt

If anyone has an interesting way for Mort to lose another drink, go ahead and post it (in the tavern, I mean - in character!)- or PM it to me, and I'll consider it. :P

You missed one: Cat kicked a mage onto it. Should be about third or fourth.

Ummm.

Hmm, I thought I'd miscounted, and went and revised 7 & 8 down to 6 & 7. I'll recheck, thanks.

So rather than Triple Post in the TS discussion I will say here that that was a great post Cache, it gives me a good number of ideas, but I am unfortunately too tired to put them to paper. I'll have something later in the morning.

Back on topic... I like Crazy's ideas for having Mort lose his drink :P

OK, that told me what really happened to beer#4, but I still think I must have miscounted later. Unless I can find the missing beer, I'll just have to assume Mort's on #8. :P

Oops, it wasn't Mort who had someone land on his drink. Sorry for mucking your count up, cache.

I could have the DK knock it over (anonymously of course) because he feels alcohol is bad for liches. ;)

I've added a creature list to the Character Desc. page. Anyone can use some of my creatures, on the one condition that you have fun. I plan to update that semi-regularly until we have a respectable variety of creatures to work with :P

I'm sure I put that the Nexus Lord could pop in and knock it over. I suspect our glorious moderator deleted it, as he reckons "Resurrector Potions are probably the lamest invention since force lightning and the Nexus Lord."

You did indeed post that, and it does appear to have disappeaed. Anyway, the NL isn't really being in TSs or such right now, until he's more balanced or more of a character in his own right.

It still would be a valid way of knocking Mort's drink over. Maybe some evil person heard about Mort's drinks and decided to hire the Nexus Lord to 'assassinate' Mort's most recent drink. :P

Would be a good idea. Then we can post in our ideas without having to worry about going off-topic.

I'd rather people just did them in the tavern, and not give everyone advance warning of what they plan. I was thinking more terms of keeping track of what's already happened to them, and what the tally is.
