The Return of Slayer's Guide to Cythera It's back!

I currently host Slayer's guide from my home and, due to such things as power black-outs, accidental blowing of fuses etc., the server that currently hosts Slayer's guide is not nearly as reliable as the Mac Classics server that originally hosted the site. I'm sorry that I can't gurantee the site is up and running all the time; I feel that 'sometimes' is better than 'never' though.
The problem you encountered has been fixed, so the guide should be working again. As for the general issues of unreliability, after my final exams are over I'll do some research into improving stability (and maybe buy a UPS for good measure).

And cheers for fixing the site. I didn't realise it was on your own server; sometimes is indeed better than never. Good on you for keeping it going, and keeping Cythera fans happy!
As for final exams... ugh... I know how you feel. Awful things. I'm looking forward to them being over.

[EDIT] Actually, I can't think of a single occasion when I've done that, but it's the sort of thing I do. [/EDIT]

No problem Like I've said before, it's great to see that people still appreciate old games like Cythera.

I intend to It's funny, in the last year or so I have occasionally thought about coming back to Cythera, but never got around to it until now. By complete coincidence I seem to have timed my comeback well – looking at old posts, it seems the forum was going through a bit of a latent phase until a few months ago. Hooray for a new lease of life! Long live Cythera! etc etc.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and CrazyChick, thank God you said that – I'm now no longer mortally offended. Just terribly hurt. You'll have to give me time to get over the pain and neglect I suffered. I'll send you the counsellor's bills later. I hope, for my sake as much as yours, that I will find it in my heart to forgive you.
In other words, thanks for the welcome and don't worry about a thing

Putting Slayer's Guide in the Archives would be a good idea, I feel. I don't know why I've still got it bookmarked, I don't need it any more, having finished the game multiple times.
On an aside, which should I do for the 40 Hour Famine? No reading or no technology? It's a big decision. I feel both would be nearly impossible (as tech involves the Internet. I'm not one of those pathetic teens who can't live without their cellphones. In fact, my cellphone has been off all weekend.)
