So ya.. I have a possible chron yet i remember someone saying it has to be around the period of time with Cythera which might result in this being another no chron..

Anyways a breif summary is that a kid dies (oh interesting, first paragraph too :P). So the kid is dead and it turns out that he is "alive" (like his "soul") for the rest of eternity (which can be a long time) and this figure person gives him 2 gifts. Basically they are ment to allow the kid to entertain himself. One has to do with time, he can rewind it, change a few things here and there then let it "play". The other is not so interesting..

So will that work or not?

Btw im sick so i might lack certain creative skills...

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Please elaborate.

You could try posting it and see if anyone complains. If you're asking if it has to be around the same time period as the game of Cythera, I don't believe that is necessary.

On an unrelated note, while checking to see how many words the Hand of Fate chron series was, I noticed that parts from the endings of both have disappeared. Did the new boards add a word limit to posts? Are these parts lost forever?

The chronicles are here and here.

Edit: I found this, but I am unable to access the link for the first part.

Edit 2: I managed to circumvent the problem preventing me from accessing the first part by accessing the comments on the first part instead. So here it is. Maybe someone should copy those so that they aren't lost. I'll probably copy the missing parts and post them in comments on both chrons.

I tried copying and pasting cache's entire post into a new post, but it seems to get cut off even earlier. There does appear to be a word limit on new posts (might be due to the server configuration to try and keep the servers running).

Here's a link to the part 1 topic on the old boards.

Speaking of the old forums, why couldn't we keep the cool color scheme? :P

Did anyone manage to get the length problem with 'The Hand of Fate' sorted out? I thought I still had both parts, but I can only find mine. Unless Kat's is on my laptop.

Yeah, there are now both links to the old topics and the missing pieces posted on the chronicle topics.

Since there was a considerable amount cut off, its possible that some of the other chronicles have pieces missing too. I haven't had time to go through them all yet.

I was curious, so I lumbered up my old version of Word Perfect and did a word count on both combined.

Some statistics on word perfect:
Total number of words: 31,153
Lines: 3565
Pages: Around 90
