If you stick every element in a giant blender, eventually you'll make a second blender! :P

What could Insomniac possibly be getting at???

I think perhaps the idea of... something... does this involve any qauntum theory? I know i've heard something like this before, it involved a mixing process and had the same results.

you wouldn't make a second blender. The gaseous elements would escape, and it is doubtful you would produce the compounds that make the blender what it is.

I get it! When you stick every element in a blender, it will eventually ruin the blender, causing you to go out and get a new, second blender!

Seconded.

How much of every element did you put in? You would have a hard time surviving the intensely fast decay of 118 and its friends.

Your blender would explode in a stinky, salty, radioactive mess.

Stinky + salty comes from... ionizing reactions that make salt.
Radioactive + explosion would come from rapid decay of your heavy elements. You also don't want a few stray neutrons. I'm assuming you have some U-235 in the blender.

If you were to suspend a blender in a vacuum for twelve trillion years, it would eventually become a second blender.

Ah yes, but *what* an explosion!

Would it be more explosive than anything we know of on this planet? Discuss.

The explosion size depends on how mixed everything is. I cesium ends up near some hydrogen and oxygen, and the hydrogen and oxygen react and make water, and the cesium comes in contact, well there's a tiny reaction, not much of an explosion. I really don't think much would explode, just lots of tiny reactions. I mean, the sun isn't exploding, is it? It's just lots and lots and lots and lots.... and lots of reactions.

Umm... hydrogen + oxygen = boom. That's what drives the Space Shuttle. Your element 118 would be more explosive, though.

hydrogen plus oxygen plus cesium (or maybe francium) and much bigger boom.

Or am I missing the point?

Don't microwave and bite a jawbreaker. It will explode in your face. Ask the Mythbusters.

I haven't got a clue. All I know is it explodes in your face and isn't funny. And you don't want to try it because it was microwaved for five minutes and could possibly kill somebody. I didn't do it, you did of your own free will and I am not responsible for the fact that you could go to jail for a long time.

Insomniac could possibly be suggesting if you make the world's largest mixed drink, you'd think you got a second blender.

It seemed to me that it kinda squished in such a way that it squirts a very hot liquid core everywhere, much like biting down hard on an egg. The kids who have experienced such jawbreaker disasters have seriously burned and scarred skin, and will never look the same for as long as they live.

To make it literally explode, you need a serious chemical defect in your jawbreaker and some heat.

Your use of past tense in this comment confuses me greatly.
But anyway... Damn you, Crazybeans!? I can't believe you did that?! I am so testifying against you?!

I haven't done it yet. And now I won't. I thought it was a fun explode kinda thing at first. But now I know better.
