Have you ever been bothered by pesky birds? Ya know, the kind that just love to sit on your window sill? Well be pesked no more! With the new Bird Away ™ Spike Strips, you can now keep them at bay. I happened to find this in a catalouge this afternoon, and just had to post it. Great, huh?

We have the long metal variants of those covering the tops of all the interior electrial boxes at the office just for kicks. Your federal tax dollars at work.

There were some other strange ones in the catalouge too. Stuff like a cage for the indoor dog who you need to put out but not get away. It was this like 20 foot long tunnel made from chicken wire. It looked wierd.

Don't feed the birds. That makes more come, and you will have to have an umbrella and rubber boots every time you go outside.

The worst part about birds is when they s###.

Yesterday, I came home and found a young bird in my garage (he was trying to get out through a closed window). I go into the garage and pick up the poor little fellow. He really freaked then and he started screaming. I brought him out to the front yard and he calmed down. He was then set free.

In the end, I ended up with bird s### on my hand. It washed off though.

That reminds me of a bird story.

I was going about my innocent, parent-imposed business in the backyard, walk under a tree, and something big and wet falls on my left shoulder. Needless to say, that shirt was done for the day, and I went inside to shower the spot where I got hit.

That wasn't cool.
