I have the power of spam, and my costume rocks. I can either go Catholic schoolgirl, or do the wonderwoman approach. Whichever you prefer!

I have a long black cape, black leather gloves, and maybe boots.

I have the power of the Magical Cornflower of Doom.

I can make cheesy stop-motion movies with a digital camera. This is something every sidekick needs.

I can see through walls, and beat up chihuahuas with my bare hands.
At last he came to a door, with these words in glowing emeralds: THE END OF THE WORLD. He did not hesitate. He opened the door and stepped through.

I have the power of always knowing what time it is (because I always wear my watch).
And the power to get really annoyed (when I accidently leave my watch at home, or [god forbid] somewhere else).
I also have the incredible ability to look at my watch when asked questions that it definitly cannot answer (for example: "What is you date of birth?", "How old are you?" and the classic "Does you watch say how old you are or something?").
Wow, you read a post by Ankhwatcher you must be so proud.

Dreadlord still trumps lich, even 1v1.

I'm not talking 1v1. I'm talking Big Picture sort of thing. In the proper hands lich is the most powerful undead hero. Dreadlord is nice but too hard to keep alive. Death Knight is actually what i use most often, my main strategy needing point healing and extra speed. Crypt Lord is the game's second-best meat shield, after Demon Hunter. I used to use him a LOT.

This topic has officially gone off topic. I blame Trah and his Blademaster picture.

I added the 1v1 because I thought you were talking about that. The dreadlord is better in an overall picture as well, he gives you countless hero kills with his sleep, he can wipe out masses of units with carrion swarm, and for the melee oriented army or team his aura is pretty powerful. I mean, 45% life steal for an army. And his ultimate, summon an infernal behind enemy lines/bases with a stunning entry, is quite useful - draws all the fire from your army. He's not a front-line hero, he's more of a hit and run nuker, sort of like the lich. Except all four of the dreadlord's skills are used. Most people only use frost nova on the lich and ignore the other three. The death knight is more useful than the lich.

I use(d) all four of the lich abilities...and sleep is overrated. There should be a bonus on the attack to wake up.

Whatever. We all like our own stuff. I just can't use the dreadlord properly.

Wait..by 1v1 did you mean hero vs. hero or player vs. player? I thought that meant hero vs. hero but...that doesn't make all that much sense now that it's not late at night. Basically all i do is 1v1 games, with the occaisional free for all, which i'm terrible at. Anyway, I use DeK more now but i still like the lich for once i figure out a good strat based on him. I'm now remembering that i havnt played online in a while...

1v1 if its hero vs hero.

And sleep is spammable, 50 mana at level 3, disrupting any micro on the lich side.

Then you focus fire on him and he dies, while the lich sleeps. Great.

Besides, the only thing that can be interrupted is Death and Decay and that's usually against buildings and doesn't hit the units much.

Anyway. At level 6, hero vs. hero, the dreadlord certainly wins-sleep, stun with infernal, carrion, lich(or any mage hero, really) is half dead. But since no game is ever decided by a hero duel this doesn't apply.

When I use the dreadlord(rarely) I find it's better to use sleep on casters-primarily priests and necros-or heavy flying(frosties). It lasts twice as long on them and is just as irritating.

I think it's a game, but I am totally lost, except for the fact they are arguing about who is stronger, and tactics, or something like this.
