I know the feeling. It's not pleasant in the best of circumstances.

I suggest chocolate. And ice cream. Maybe chocolate ice cream.

Or not. In which case there's more for me, which is good.

At the moment I feel everyone (including me) are staying the same, while 1 person slips further away despite attempts to stop it...

I've been getting the opposite feeling lately.

Apple and Intel gave me that feeling. People saying that would actually help Apple didn't help, either.

You should learn to accept change, or at least deal with it.

Especially since most things aren't rounded to the nearest dollar.

TJ: G5+G5+G5+G5+Linux=Beowulf cluster, and all the processing power I really need for a while. Maybe it will last ten (or five, if Intel stands by their old chip-making colors of pure clock speed while AMD trounces them with A64) years while they find a real architecture.

I got my drivers permit today [no really this is on topic]!
It's been pissing me off that i wasn't learning to drive while so many of my friends, romans and countrymen were.
Now I'm catching up with the changes that everyone i know is undergoing [told you it would be on topic]!
}except that I'm obviously not, because I'm sitting here typing this{
Still thats the first step forward and I'm already about 6 months behind.

I feel like everyone can't keep up with me and I'm leaving them behind. I should probably slow down.

I definately fel that way, espically lately. Now that I've graduated high school, most of my friends are going away to college, or are simply always busy. My little sister is doing sometihng similar, with the whole working thing. Shush, I'm 18 and I don't have a job, I know.
