That'd be "uni".

If "Sandwich" had been an option, then I would have voted.

It depends on how you rate college, but otherwise, no, college is not overrated. When I got to college, I found it was actually underrated. Maybe that's just where I go, though.

I'm rapidly discovering that which teachers you get has a great impact on the quality of the education one receives.

That's quite true. I had a choice of taking Physics from a teacher who's hard but fair, or a teacher who's hard and mean. I took the first choice.

You could prove many conflicting points with that statement.

I'm in 12th grade. The fact is people that desire success will be successful and those that don't won't be. College just gives you a better chance if you want it. You just have to work harder to be successful without such an education.

I don't care about my education right now. I'd rather go sailing.

I'm currently in a year out. It started in 2002...

Like anything, college is what you make it to be. It can be every bit as fun, interesting, challenging, or horrifying as you want, just don't expect to come out the other side knowing anything more than you went in with. At least regarding the things that really matter (you'll almost certainly know a bunch more about trivial matters).

I believe this is the same with life. Many people never fully experience it because they are working to hard to get from point A to point B. They forget to absorb the scenery along the way. (Wow, midnight, it's pretty late.)

It made perfect sense. The problem must be your end.

Hmm...I disagree. However, I don't think the problem is yours. I believe the problem is somewhere in between the two of us. Kind of floating in webspace. :P

I'm with you TJ, except not. I've been thinking about college since seventh grade. Rather, my parents have made me think about it since then. Now I'm getting serious about it. I know all the dates and everything for music scholarships at UNR and Berklee and tentatively Northwestern already, and they're all a year away. But I still don't think I'm very prepared. Funny how that works eh?
