I'm not a journalist, but I play one on TV.

Don't be quick to judge. The new Windows Media Player can encode pretty well. My music library is all in WMA at 64kbps and I can't tell the difference between that and it's 128kbps MP3 counterpart.

And 128kps MP3 is no where near CD quality. All my library is either 128kps AAC or >128kps MP3, all my experience with WMA and Ogg encoding has been very bad.

I'm with DB on this one. Steve Jobs > AAC > Pie > God > Fried Chicken > The Onion > ham sandwich > dung > eating wasps > being eaten by a wasp > Death by Napkins > Country Music > good ol' George > being impaled repeatedly with red hot spears in the groin > drowning > WMA

Thats pretty much how it is.

Hey 3vil, did you notice that the guy on the right of Nelson Mandela in your profile looks like Napoleon Dynamite?

I think that the real question must be why does 3vil have a picture of Nelson Mandela in his profile to begin with?

I never said that it was CD (or near-CD) quality.

I've had people ask me, via email, for interviews for school projects, thinking I was what my name says I am. Very odd.

I think it's . . . amusing. Quaintly so.
At last he came to a door, with these words in glowing emeralds: THE END OF THE WORLD. He did not hesitate. He opened the door and stepped through.
