What are some of your favorite riddles? Here's one of mine...from the book I'm reading..

I'd like to see what poeple say :P

"I am very strong with a fiery red point, but I die shuddering in release. Behind me is the man who brought me to this desperate state."

Have fun!

Apart from the 'die shuddering in release' part, it kinda sounds like mikee.

A grading pen. I hate those didactic poems because the obvious answer always screws you up.

What has four legs, then two legs, then three legs?
At last he came to a door, with these words in glowing emeralds: THE END OF THE WORLD. He did not hesitate. He opened the door and stepped through.

A man. Four to start, two to walk on, and three (counting the cane) in later life.

Ah, I see you appreciate Greek literature. However, the riddle goes: What walks on four legs in the morning, two in the afternoon, and three in the evening?

edit: Curse you, Swithich! I was typing the answer right before you posted.

Yes, I know, but how many people on ASW read Greek literature? I could start a topic about it, but that seems kind of pointless, so...anyway...

Ya, I've read quite a bit, but now I'm in AP (British) English Literature. We're reading Jane Eyre right now.

No-one's got mine yet I see. Shame, cause it's quite a well known one. I did fiddle it so no matches came up on google though.
