Really, Anaxagoras? That's odd. Hmm...

I have two addresses, my spam account, and real account. In just over a year, I have received 0 spam in the spam account, and probably 3000 spam in the spam account.

I get 3000 spam in an old yahoo account per month. Literally.

I get between 150 and 200 spams per day in my main WebTV account, my primary email account, on the other hand, only receives one or two a week and I've received exactly one spam on my work account.

I probably get about 30 pieces of spam in my gmail a day (mainly because I had it mark all the Micro$oft and AIM crap as spam). But I never get to see it because Gmail puts it all in a nice folder and it never get POPed to my computer. :P

The closest thing I get to spam in my regular Gmail account is colleges begging for me to go there.

I get those in the regular mail. I haven't got any colleges sending me e-mail yet.

Heh, I used to get lots of colleges sending me regular mail spam. Such a waste of money...

Speaking of colleges mailing you... did anyone else get a prospectus from that weird college somewhere in eastern California? You know, the one with twenty students, all guys, all on full scholarships, spending half the day working the ranch and the other half studying?

It was vaguely disquieting... especially the bit about the only leave given during termtime being for religious observances such as going to church...

Um no. I actually didn't get that much mail from colleges during HS. Mainly because I didn't put my name out there. Anyway, I've been accepted to 4 out of 5 I've applied to and I'm still waiting to hear on the last on. So I figure I'm doing pretty well. :P

Quite, most of me college mail comes from in-state music programs or for some reason Theology schools, which is odd considering that whenever the national test things ask for a religion I put none. :P

I can't say that I have received that, but I would find it disquieting too.

Getting accepted is the easy part, figuring out how to pay for it is another matter entirely (that is unless you happen to be enormously wealthy or have the end-all, be-all of high school resumes).

I use knots as often as I use miles. So nyah. And my hotmail account, which I've had for about 3 and a half years, gets like about one spam message every couple of days.

I got accepted to all of my universitys, which was cool cause they made up like 6 out of the top 14 in the country. But then I didn't want to go to uni so I turned them all down and now I've changed my mind but it's too late and they don't want me... bugger.

I've gotten so many colleges sending me stuff. Lots of Catholic colleges too. It'll be interesting, but we have a 2,000 a year scholarship, and I get 2,000 a year for doing marching band. It's a good school too. Staying home I think. Although I want to study abroad for a while.

What I think I'm going to do is take the $10,000 scholarship we recieve when we graduate High School and the $2,000 a year from marching band, go to the University here for two years and then go on to this program I found in which I can receive my doctorate. That program included one year abroad in Asia so I think it would work out quite well for me.
Can you imagine if I was deranged?
