By the way, for clarification, I realize that shakespeare isn't boring, I was saying the writing of the essays was boring.

To get back on topic, I wrote 1000 more words worth of sequel tonight. You know, if all the scenes I've written weren't so out of order, it might actually make sense to someone else who tried to read it...

Have you ever given it to anyone else to read? A good reader should be able to make sense of it.

Not at this stage. And while they'd certainly be able to get the gist of the plot from what I've written so far, and even map out some key character roles and relationships, it certainly wouldn't be worth reading for pleasure.

Indeed. Producers are the modern era Thought Police, the very personification of The Man.

And it strikes me that you don't really need an editor until you've finished your work.

Not necessarily. Sometimes it helps for people to take a look when you get bogged down. They can give you ideas and guidence.

Wasn't "The Producers" a broadway show too?

The Producers was a really funnt spoof musical done by Mel Brooks. Don't know if it was a show before or after, but I know there is a theatre version showing at London right now...

So what is everybody writing about this weekend. Any new interesting stories?

I haven't written a story in ages...although even when I do write, I have a tendency to write beginnings and middles, but never get to the end. I also think my muse is lazy, as most of my ideas come from other people's universes, although sometimes I have my own characters.

This weekend, I'm writing a research response paper and a classroom management plan, and typing up some poetry. Yay homework!

My list for stuff to complete this weekend reads as follows:

• Write a talk for church service on Sunday (kinda sorta finished)

• Write a creed for the service (done)

• Write a meditation/ritual for said service 9also kinda sorta done)

• Write a narrative for service (done)

• Possibly get round to actually doing something about this web comic idea me and my friends have been having for about a year now (this has been on my list for about 6 months)

Seeing as it's 11pm Saturday, and most of that needs doing for tomorrow morning, I think I'm doing alright.

Oh, I might also have to make a 10 minute DVD with video and music that inspires feelings of freedom for me. If I decide I want that in my service...
