"No comment"....Why not?
"Don't you two have anything better to do?" ...Yes..but we love you all so much..

Well, you could always create a topic to discuss the dry wit and debonair charm I bring to the locking of topics - wait. You already have!

I think we should make a topic on the true meaning of the word debonair.

I'm all for locking topics that degenerate into meaningless post raising. I'm also all for distributing AIM screennames so that people can still have those conversations with each other.

Anything that keeps me in the perilous 16th most posting-est guy position.

We don't need to ask the Angel why. It's all in the name.

And yes, those topics which spun off into useless post-count raising deserved to be locked. Ta muchly.

As for debonair, it means:

debonair or debonaire, adjective.
1. gay; cheerful.
(SYN) light-hearted.
2. pleasant; courteous.
Ex. His debonair ways made the dashing young man a favorite among the ladies.
(SYN) urbane, gracious.
At last he came to a door, with these words in glowing emeralds: THE END OF THE WORLD. He did not hesitate. He opened the door and stepped through.

That topic was 5 pages. The original subject was losing virginity. It was bound to be locked.

My point isn't I'm mad the topics get locked...I'm all for that! It's just not being able to reply after he says something witty. Showing appreciation for SA's humor is what I live for!

Indeed, but only write worthwhile stuff. For instance, "SA has turned into a pumpkin" or "I left a picture of SA in the post office" are both good. Whereas worthless stuff like, "Hamsters wrote the Gettysberg Address" or "Cogito ergo vescor" don't do anyone any good.

I think it would be somewhat anticlimatic to have another witty comment after whatever SA chooses to put up. In the event that he doesn't put up a witty comment, obviously it was locked for security reasons and he felt threatened by it, so he doesn't want you posting in it anyways.
