I would like to inform you that I will be departing the official AmbrosiaSW web boards...at least for a while. No, this is no stupid hoax, so cheer all you want, go ahead and say "Good riddance," or "go to hell" or whatever. Your replies will likely not be read, let alone responded to.

So, getting to the point; why am I leaving? Well, there are several reasons.

1) Just Chat is quite biased, much like the liberal media establishment. In fact, JC is part of the liberal media establishment. That's all I'm saying about this, as this is supposed to be a non-political topic.

2) I believe that I have been targeted for removal by the Great Leftist Conspiracy, and am no longer welcome in this place. This new warning system has given some left-wing mods an efficient way to eliminate me. While I feel quite confident that I will be back someday, I've decided to lay low for a while.

3) I have a life, or I'm starting to get a life. Nothing more needs to be said. ;)

4) I, quite simply, hate this new forum system. The quote system sucks, the smilies suck, the new karma, er, warning system sucks, the Invision forum system is too complicated, I miss the old forum colors and pictures, I don't know where the War Room is (or if it even still exists, for that matter), I'm too lazy to update my links, and I'm Not A Monkey. That's why I hate the new boards. Except for the last one. I don't know how it got in there; maybe my cat put it in. Or the ch*mp. Anyway, I think we would have done better with an update of the old UBB, the installation of a poll system, and a few new smilies (similar to the old ones), rather than a forum replacement.

5) Ambrosia hasn't put out any good games for a while. No, I didn't like Aki, and (sorry andrew) I think the EVN board game is a piece of crap, partly because of the "expansion packs." Three upcoming games (Redline, Siege, and Rockfall) looking very promising, but WHERE IN HELL ARE THEY?! When they do eventually come out, I'll probably be back.

6) These boards aren't interesting anymore. BnB quality has declined quite a bit, JC doesn't have the same interesting and controversial topics (the only ones that fall under that category are ones I started myself), ATT isn't as insane or funny, and all the new #ev3 quotes are lame. Since I don't command the power or respect to rectify this situation myself, I'm going to go poof.
Oh, and Ding-Dong, Arafat is dead. Thank God. :P

So, that's why I'm leaving. Yes I'll be back; no it won't be soon. I would say "see you in hell" but that probably wouldn't be very nice. So have a nice day, good luck dominating the universe, and Vote Republican 2008.

Goodbye.

I'll admit it. I don't like you much. In fact, I don't like you at all. Why? Not because your a republican, just because your personallity seems to iritate me. However, I must say that a member who has been here for some time, and contributed "something", always is a tragic event to me. Here's to you, have a good time doing whatever it is you plan to do with your misguided republican friends.

I don't know whether to cheer or cry.
So I'll do nothing.

I think the fact you can't get over the mistaken assumption that anyone who disagrees with you is part of some liberal conspiracy to the left has led you down a bad path, putting you in a really ugly light.

And Redline is very much in beta, as is Gooball - the new one. If they were released now, it wouldn't be anything close to the potential these games have. There are some issues still being worked out (especially a few regarding the physics engines in both games), I can see that firsthand as I'm betaing both. :P That's why they're in Beta, they'll be released when they're ready - so when they do come out, each game can be the stunning fun Ambrosia-published experience people have come to expect.

I hope that "getting a life" means you are in contact with the real world, which would do you large amounts of good.

I'd feel that way to if all my arguements sucked. Maybe thats why they're so biased.
