90-100 = A
80-89 = B
70-79 = C
60-69 = D
<60 = F

It was mostly that way until I went to college.
The one exception was IB chemistry, they had to lower the grade boundaries (for example, a C was from 60-75, B was something like 75-88) to match the difficulty of the course.

My high school does
97+ =A+
93-96= A
90-92= A-
Continues on that way, until 69 and below which is F
I love the way my school assigns GPA; you get a full point more for honors or AP courses. That means my GPA is a little under 5 on a 4.0 scale
