"What the hell is that wretched din?!" He shrieked above the din. The noise abruptly ended and the Captain fell to the ground, his ears bleeding. He lay there panting, recovering from the attack of the strange sounds. He heard footsteps walking up to him, and though he could not see the man who was approaching him, he reckognized the tread. "Sorry, Admiral." He muttered, still in some pain.
The Admiral didn't take exception to it, saying in a cool and parental voice, "It's a human thing, Captain Hop. They call this awfull collection of sounds 'music', and, somehow manage to enjoy listening to it. It's titled 'In the Mood', by Glenn Miller." He gestured to the human strapped to the interrogation chair. "Merely to make our guest at home."
Captain Hop propped himself up, regaining his composure, and cleared his throat. "The reclamation crews have finished 'dissecting' the captured human carrier and have found nothing of great significance. A few humans hiding away in the bulkheads hoping not to be found, a few animals (undoubtedly the human admiral's pets), and twenty unused human fighters."
"Good work, Captain. Tear apart the ship and send it back through the Hypergate. The humans have an issue with honor, holding the dated belief that a death in glorious battle for a cause merits more honor than a death in an interrogation room. They will believe their 'admiral' is dead and limp back home."
"What are you going to do?!" The human in the chair spoke for the first time since the Captain entered the room, in a most petulant and resigned tone, quite clearly directed towards the Admiral.
Captain Hop wasn't the most experienced at understanding and speaking human fluently, never having had a reason to have done so, but he didn't like the human's tone. He raised a claw as to strike the human very roughly, muttering in the best human he could manage "Speak to the god that way you must not!". He brought his claw down quite hard, slashing the human's chest lightly (it grunted in pain). The Captain shook his claw to rid it of the human smell and stalked off. The Admiral smiled, sparing a light chuckle.
"Childsplay, Captain Hop. You must be a little more accomodating to our guests in the future, as he," the Admiral gestured to the human, "would outrank you in human society." Captain Hop stopped and glared back at the human. "Meet James Hollister, ex-admiral of the human navy."
