I'm surprised threats of review actually got to you on that one. I'm planning on completely ignoring those threats.

Nah, its an excuse. But, I'll have to be more careful, because everything is semi-publically logged. No more messing with persondude's mind.

I'll have to see how andrew sets it up. In the test run, any mod could see what another mod was doing - which could raise questions ('specially from that yin-yang fellow) and issues. So far nobody has complained about my adjustments (that I know of) though.

I've found that if you ignore the questions, they have little effect.

I don't recall a situation in which you have ever messed with my mind, so if you have, you've been doing a hell of a job hiding it from me.

In the meantime, your control panel actually displays your posts per day - no more calculating by hand. :P

The Post Count dropped if you had posted in topics that no longer exist, such as deleted topics, or topics shot into a black hole. The post count currently reflects the number of posts in existence on these boards.

Except that the Nova board and all its posts are back, and our postcounts aren't.

As I just said. If you posted 1000 times in a topic on the old boards that got deleted, those posts weren't transferred to this board, so your post count will not reflect those 1000 posts. It has nothing to do with Nova/Uplink, just the stuff that got deleted.

Including the archives, if you posted something in Just Chat, EV, or Cythera that got archived - the original topic on the board was deleted, and those posts are no longer counted. That's probably why I personally lost some posts.

If you didn't even post in archived topics, then I cannot help you, just move on.

hehe, the irony, pure and true, shines through so bright as to blind all around.

A topic about gettin 2k posts, right before the event which pummels his count all the way down to 2/3 that. Almost too amusing for words.

I'm back to 2000 after having lost 400-something during the switch. I'm not going to recalculate the numbers.
