I had an inspiration. We should start a new board in which we can discuss various things related to rashes/ assorted ailments that relate to rashes.

The name "Rash Talk" would fit, and since this board is being hosted by Ambrosia Software we need to include the name of it's shareware title "Ares" before the title of the actual board.

Members will also be expected, from time to time, to take place in conversations that both involve Rashes and Ambrosia Software's shareware title "Ares".

Once, back in Ares' hey day, I got a rash because I don't know.

I've not had a rash of any sort for at least a couple years, possibly more. The new board would be lost on me.

Maybe instead, we should just have a topic on Trash Talk about rashes!!!

At random intervals i get these odd rashes on my legs, and sometimes my back. I think it's from overloading the washing machine, causing it to not let the clothes rinse the detergent out properly.

I once had the misfortune of catching Thrush, which I had hitherto thought to be a girl's-only thing. Apparently it can be a skin rash as well.

I have a rash right now, but I can't give you any gory details because those would be obscene.

Yeah, diaper rashes aren't the best things to describe on the boards.

I got hives once, and it was one of the freakiest experiences of my life. I was just sitting on the couch one evening, eating ice cream and minding my own business, when I looked down and saw splotchy rashes all over my thighs. A few minutes later it had spread over most of my body, but by morning it was gone again. The doctor said that it was a benign condition probably triggered by a food allergy, so I spent the next few days re-sampling all the foods I had eaten on the day it happened. Nothing I tried, though, made the hives reappear.

It's too bad, really -- it could have been a fun party trick.
