I don't recall any birds getting stoned in the bible. Stoning tended to be a punishment reserved for people.

I'm not too sure why stoning isn't a more popular punishment in the world today. I'd think that the families of murder victims would love to get the chance to toss some large rocks at their loved one's murderer.

After an hour the criminal was always covered in small bruises, and simply ended up getting so angry that he popped a rock back at the folks stoning him, occasionally hitting in the temple and killing them.

While searching for the perfect "stoning rocks", many developed an interest in geology, and abandoned the stoning tradition.

And Stoning someone to death is just no fun with only three people.

Also, I'm not too clear on this whole "kill two birds with one stone" issue. Can you throw said stone more than one time? Do you even half to throw it, or can you simply sneak up behind them with a bat-shaped rock?

I never really understood the details behind it.

I'd consider that rock as more of a mountain then a boulder. If we're dropping mountains thats a whole different story.
