What did you want to be when you were a little kid?

I wanted to be a doctor...and now...at 15, I want to be a Disney character at Disneyland.

I want to be some sort of Anthropologist, or someone in film making (ie Director, Editor, Producer, etc), or perhaps an Interior Designer. But, more than likely one of the first two.

I want to design 3d graphics for computer games companies. I am taking an advanced Digital Arts class next year when I return home.

mmmmmm graphics design. I just took a similar class and it was a blast (it was actually a Cad class, but I went off on my own recently to poke at 3D modeling). I threw this cool party hat together in C4D just today:

Trah: I don´t understand Strata. It´s completely unintuitive. Jules told me that he was going to get me a tutorial on texturing in Strat for me about 2 months ago, maybe, but it still hasn´t come.

Try using what I use, C4D. Texturing is sooooooooooo easy.

1. make texture in photoshop
2. choose "new material" in materials window
3. check the "environment" box
4. In the environment tab, choose the pic you made in step one
5. Drag the newly created sphere that is your texture onto the object you want textured

I have a really good idea too (IMHO):
Essentially it's an Ares/EV-inspired top-down space game with gravity (you do clever things with orbits, close passes and such; scale is a bit of a problem at this stage; hmmmn). Turrets/weaponry are controlled with the mouse.

I have a wiki where my friends and I write pages and pages about it. Ahem.
